DEFAULT StayMakers Settings

Before you start connecting your individual StayMakers listings, you will need to ensure your global StayMakers settings are setup. These settings will feed through to each StayMakers listing where required, however if you change any of this information (excluding Amenities) on the individual StayMakers listing level, that change will override these global settings.

These settings can be accessed as per the following steps:

  • Click Channel Management > Connections from the Homhero side menu
  • Click the StayMakers Spanner Icon 
  • Click the Green Pencil Icon (Edit Options)

Details

  1. Cancellation Policy - Select a default Cancellation Policy to apply to all StayMakers listings
     
  2. House Rules - These are displayed on the itinerary presented to the client by the travel agent, so keep them simple and include key rules like no parties, no schoolies, no events, no more than maximum guests allowed
     
  3. Amenities - Set any Room Amenities that apply to all StayMakers listings 

    Note: You can have values set on both the global and listing level, which means the individual OTA listing Amenities will not override the Default StayMakers Settings Amenities. We will merge them together to form a complete list before we send this information to StayMakers.


     

Pricing

  1. Rate Lift - Normally this is where you will setup a Rate Lift to cover any commission charged from an OTA, however please leave the Rate Lift as 0.00%, as this is controlled directly on the StayMakers side
     
  2. Additional Guest Fee - Add an additional Guest Fee here if this applies to all StayMakers listings
     
  3. Cleaning Fee - Add a Cleaning Fee here if this applies to all StayMakers listings
     
  4. Security Fee - Add an Security Fee here if this applies to all StayMakers listings


     

Availability

  1. Minimum Advanced Booking Days - The minimum number of days in advance that the room can be booked (Can be empty)
     
  2. Maximum Advanced Booking Days - The maximum number of days in advance that the room can be booked (max 501 days)
     
  3. Click Save when complete
