The Archived tab within Homhero's Unified Inbox gives you full control over your messaging environment by allowing you to clear out completed, resolved, or no longer active conversations without losing access to them. Archiving messages is essential for maintaining a clean, focused inbox while keeping historical communication just a click away.
By archiving messages that no longer require action, your active inbox becomes easier to manage. This improves team clarity, reduces distractions, and helps ensure no critical messages are overlooked among older or resolved threads.
Below, you will find a step by step guide on the Archived tab and how to use it:
- Click Unified Inbox from the Homhero side menu.
- Click Archived.
- If your message is not showing in the list, click the Refresh Icon above the left panel.
- You can Search for a specific reservation here to filter through your messages.
- You can select the Type of messaging to filter.
- Select the Message you wish to read from the left hand side.
- You can see an Overview of the Reservation Id, Name of the Guest/Owner/Staff, or if it is a System message.
- If the message was accidentally opened, you can mark the message as Unread.
- Click the Refresh Icon to refresh the message.
- Click the X Icon to close the message.
- Click the Arrow icon to expand the message dialog.
- The right hand side panel shows useful information such as Owner/Reservation Information, Contact Details and Property Information.
- You can Assign a Message to a specific staff member.
- Click the View More button to expand the message.
- Send Via - Depending on the type of message, you can send via SMS, Email, or by OTA messaging.
- Reply Box - You can type and send a quick reply from the same screen.
- The More Options button will provide more sending options, such as specific templates, schedules, including CC's, subjects and more text editing options.
How do I Archive messages in Unified Inbox?
To archive messages in Homhero's Unified Inbox, hover your mouse over a message and you will notice a tab appear on the right hand side of the message preview. You can archive the message from here.
Note: You can bulk archive messages by selecting the checkbox on the left of each message. There is a limit of 50 messages you can archive at a time.
How do I Unarchive messages in Unified Inbox?
To unarchive messages in Homhero's Unified Inbox, hover your mouse over a message within the Archived tab and you will notice a tab appear on the right hand side of the message preview. You can unarchive the message from here.
