This article covers how to create, or reset Owner Portal Pins inside of Homhero. Owners use this pin to access their Owners Portal. Depending on whether you need to setup all of your pins for the first time, or reset just one. This article covers all possible options:
Creating Owner Portal Pins for the first time / resetting Portal Pins in bulk:
- Click Contacts from the left hand side menu in Homhero
- Click Actions at the top of the page, then select "Set All Empty Pins"
- If you are resetting all of your pre-existing Portal Pins, you can click "Reset all Pins"
Resetting a singular Owners Portal Pin / setting a custom Portal Pin:
Some owners may request for their pin to be reset, or to set a custom pin. You can do this by:
- Clicking Contacts from the left hand side menu in Homhero.
- Under the Portal Pin column, click the box to reveal a free text field.
- You can click the Refresh symbol to randomise a Portal Pin, or, if the owner has a specific pin in mind, you can enter it here. Clicking away from the box will save the field.
Editing Owners Portal Pins from the Contact screen
- Click Contacts from the left hand side menu in Homhero.
- Either double click the line of the Contact you're wanting to access, or click the Green Pencil on the right hand side of the Contact.
- You can enter a custom pin under the "Portal Code" section, or click the Refresh symbol on the right hand side of the Portal Code itself.
- Click Save in the bottom right.
