Our guest portal provides an easy-to-use online system that allows guests to handle their security deposit payments efficiently. This article walks through the full process, guiding guests on how to make their security deposit payment with ease and ensuring a seamless, stress-free experience.
Note: 3DS2 authentication is now supported for pre-authorisation payments made through the Guest Portal. This feature is only available for clients using the Merchant Warrior payment gateway.
- Login to the Guest Portal.
- Click Security Deposit Payment. This option will only appear once the booking balance has been paid and the security deposit is due. You can also pay for the security deposit via the Online Payment section as well.
- The Security Deposit Paid amount reflects the total that has already been paid.
- The Security Deposit Due amount will be the remaining outstanding balance to pay.
- The Security Deposit Note will provide more information about the Security Deposit rules.
- Enter the Card Number.
- Enter the Name on Card.
- Enter the Card Expiry.
- Enter the CCV.
- The Amount to Deposit will be displayed and automatically filled according to your security deposit rules, and the remaining outstanding balance.
- The Total Deposit will be shown, including any surcharges applicable to the card type used. However, you have the option to disable surcharges on security deposits within your Guest Portal Settings.
- Click Pay Now.
- After the security deposit payment is completed, Homhero will restrict access to this section and the Online Payment section, preventing further viewing.
