This article outlines the steps required to remove a listing from your website while ensuring it remains active within Homhero.
Rather than permanently deleting the listing, it is recommended to change the status to Draft. Updating the status to Draft will remove the listing from public view on your website, while allowing it to remain fully active within Homhero for internal management, tracking, and reporting purposes.
This approach is particularly beneficial, if the listing may need to be republished at a later date. When required, the status can be easily updated, eliminating the need to recreate the listing.
What do I need to do in Homhero?
Click on Booking Engine from the left hand side menu in Homhero.
Select API Keys.
Choose Default API Key and double click to open this field up.
Under Exclude Listings, click SET.
Select the listing from the available list and move it across to the Selected list
Click SET.
What do I need to change in Wordpress?
- Log in to your account and select Listings from the left hand side menu.
- Hover over the Property Name.
- Select Quick Edit.
- On the right hand side, click on Status and change this from Published to Draft.
- Scroll right down to the bottom left and click Update to apply these changes.
