After completing the registration and KYC process, the Homhero Support team will help you activate Hompay within Homhero. This will need to be completed before you can start processing payments.
Please note that activating Hompay will disable any existing payment gateways currently configured in your Homhero Settings. However, any gateways connected through Payment Service will remain visible and available in the list of payment options.
Step 1. Enable Payment Service
Homhero Support will enable Payment Service to make Hompay visible in the Market Place.
Step 2. Activate Payment Service
Once Payment Service has been added, Hompay will then be activated via Payment Service in the Homhero Market Place.
This can be completed as per the following steps:
- Click Market Place from the Homhero side menu.
- Under Payments Apps, locate and select the Payment Service Icon.
- Turn the Active toggle on.
- Choose Hompay as the payment gateway.
- Assign this as the Default payment gateway, or select specific listings in step 11.
- Enter a Description for this payment gateway.
- Add API Public Key - Homhero to complete.
- Add API Secret Key - Homhero to complete.
- Add Merchant ID - Homhero to complete.
- Listings: This is where you would assign specific listings to this payment gateway. You would only assign specific listings in a situation where you would like funds from reservations to go into a different bank account.
- Once completed, click Save New.
- Repeat the steps if you are setting up multiple payment gateways.
Please Note: Homhero will automatically verify if the API credentials are successful upon clicking Save.
- You can also assign Hompay through the Listing settings. This is particularly useful for enterprise accounts that manage multiple trust accounts across different states. See the example below:
