This article will explain what each status option means for maintenance jobs.
- Pending status: This will save the task, but it will remain un-actioned.
- In Progress (Staff / Handyman): This will move the maintenance job to assign a handyman / staff. These can also be contractors who have access to the maintenance and staff portal. Once assigned the job will appear in the portal automatically.
- With Contractor: This is a status for contractors or third parties that do not have access to the maintenance app to view and complete a job. When assigned under this status, an email with a work order will be sent to the contractor to complete the job.
- Awaiting Response: Jobs that appear under this status are usually set by the handyman / staff via the maintenance portal. This will usually happen if more information is required, or the job cannot be completed as it stands. You will be notified of the status change via email notification
- Awaiting Owner Response: This status is used when a job needs to be approved by an owner. Once a job is moved to this status, the owner will receive an SMS and email advising there is a new job awaiting approval in the owners app. The owner can then login, view and approve the job from the app.
- Completed: All jobs that have been completed will be moved to this status.
