STEP 9. Map your Properties in RMS to Homhero

In this step, we will show you how to map your property in RMS to the corresponding property in Homhero. This step is important as it directs RMS on where to update the ARI (Availability, Rates, and Inventory).

  1. Select Setup > Online Bookings > Channel Management
  2. Double click on the Homhero API Channel option
    Note: Keep record of how many Mapped Room/Rates there are currently

    Mapped Room/Rates 
    This is the total number of Rate Plans that are mapped to ALL active properties. If you only use one Rate Type e.g. Standard Rate, this should reflect the same number of active properties you have setup. If you have multiple Rate Plans this figure will show higher, based on how many different Rate Plans you have setup across your portfolio per property.


     
  3. On the ''Channel Management Setup - Homhero API'' page, click the Mapping Wizard button under Area/Rate Mapping


     
  4. Under Mapping Method, choose Select required room types and rate plans from list
  5. Click the Room Types arrow to proceed



    Note: 
    Due to recent RMS mapping changes, the below steps have changed:
     
  6. Under Room Types, click the double arrow to move all properties to the right hand side
  7. Click the Tariff Types arrow to proceed


     
  8. Under Tariff Types, click the single arrow to move your ''Standard Rate'' Tariff Type to the right hand side. This will be the name of the rate plan you have used for setting up your Base Rate in Homhero e.g. Base Rate, BAR Rate, Homhero Rate

    Note: Do not map the Owner Rate or multiple rate plans here. You only need to map 1x Tariff Type that is currently used in Homhero. 
     
  9. Click the Mapping arrow to proceed



     
  10. Under Mapping, click Replace Mapping to add additional properties to the current list
  11. Click the Finish arrow to proceed


     
  12. The No Update Checkbox will show as unticked by default for all properties. If this is ticked for a particular property, it will cause availability issues between RMS and Homhero
  13. Click Save/Exit to update the changes

    82 = Room Type ID (Category, Property, House)



    1 = Tariff Type ID (Rate Type)


     
  14. Re-open the channel management screen by going to Setup > Online Bookings > Channel Management and check that the total properties has increased by one. In this example, you will see the total mapped Room/Rates has increased from 47 to 48

Once the above steps are completed, you can proceed to Step 10. Map Rate Type and complete Property Management setup
