This article will explain how to add a new correspondence template. Templates are designed to help save you time from having to manually type out an email, SMS or OTA message each time you are communicating to your guests.
Please follow the below steps:
Email Message
- Name - Add a Name for the new Template.
- Subject - Add a description to display at the top of the recipient's subject header of their emails.
- Email Theme - If you have any pre-made Email Themes setup, you can select one from the drop-down and this will add an existing Email Theme into this Template.
- Email Message - In the white text box enter the text of the email manually. In addition to using merge fields, you can also add images and links.
SMS Message
- Enable SMS - Turn this toggle on if you would like to setup a new SMS message for this template.
- SMS Content - In the 'SMS Content' box, enter the text of the SMS.
- Insert Merge Field - Click here to insert a Merge Field used to push through the relevant Homhero data that is specific to each booking e.g. The Booking ID, the first name, the email of the Guest.
- Estimated SMS Cost / SMS Characters - Check the Estimated SMS Cost and SMS Character total. One text message is a maximum of 160 Characters.
OTA Message
If enable OTA is turned on, it will allow you to create an OTA Message Template to be used for Schedules.
- Enable OTA - Turn this toggle on if you would like to setup a new OTA message for this template.
- OTA Message Content - In the 'OTA Message Content' box, enter the message you would like to send to your Airbnb Guests.
- Insert Merge Field - Click here to insert a Merge Field used to push through the relevant Homhero data that is specific to each booking e.g. The Booking ID, the first name, the email of the Guest.
- Click Cancel to cancel creating the Template.
- Click Save once you have finished setting up the Template.
