How to process a Pre-Auth

In Homhero, you can process a pre-authorisation on behalf of a guest from multiple locations, including the Dashboard, Reservations List, or the Reservation Screen. This example demonstrates how to do this directly from the Reservations List.

1. Go to your Reservations List in Homhero.
2. Locate and open the reservation for which you want to process a pre-authorisation.
   
   
   
   
3. Click Payment Options + Pre-Auth.
   
   
   
   
4. You can override the Security Deposit that is setup for this property.
5. To use an Existing Card click the drop-down arrow and select a card.
   or
   
6. Enter Name on Card.
7. Click the drop-down arrow to select the Card Type.
8. Enter the Card Number.
9. Enter the Expiry.
10. Enter the CCV (use 000 if not available).
11. Click Submit to process the pre-auth.
