This article will explain how to manage notification settings.
General Notification Settings
- Click Settings from your HomHero side menu.
- Select General Settings > Notification tab.
- Bell Notification Sound - When this is turned on, every time you get a new booking or a cancellation, a bell notification sound will ring.
- Send Emails From - This is the email address your guests will receive emails from.
NOTE: If this email address is changed, you must update your DNS records as well. - Guest Registration - We will notify you when a guest completes the online Check In registration.
- Cleaner Notifications - We will notify you when a cleaner sends a message or completes a clean via the Cleaning Online Portal.
- Maintenance - We will notify you when a staff, cleaner, guest or owner reports maintenance via the Online Portals, when Maintenance Staff complete Maintenance Jobs via the Staff & Maintenance Online Portal and when Maintenance is reported from a departure clean.
- Guest Messages - We will notify you when a guest sends a message from the Guest Online Portal.
- Staff Messages - We will notify you when a staff member sends a message from the Staff & Maintenance Online Portal.
- Owner Messages - We will notify you when an owner modifies a booking or sends a message from the Owners Online Portal.
- Schedule Reports - This is a report containing information about the schedules that have gone out.
- Email SMS Reply - We will notify you when an SMS is responded to from a guest. You will get an email copy.
- Account Messages - We will notify you when there is an issue with your account
e.g. If a charge fails to submit to RMS. - Channel Updates - We will notify you when there is a channel (OTA) related issue.
- Review Received - We will notify you when any review is received into the system.
- Click Save.
NOTE: You can add multiple email addresses to these Notifications by separating each email with a comma.
Fallback toggle
- If any Email Notifications are empty and the Fallback toggle is ON, it will fall back to the email address listed in Contact Info.
- If any Email Notifications are empty and the Fallback toggle is OFF, you will not be notified about the Notification.
