General Settings - Messaging Settings

The Messaging Settings in Homhero allow you to configure your SMS provider by entering details such as the API Key, API Secret, Force SMS, and From SMS Number. Within the Unified Inbox, you can choose whether to skip unread messages or specific message types from showing in the Unified Inbox to streamline communication. Once preferences are set, click Save to apply the changes.

1. Click Settings from the Homhero side menu.
2. Select General Settings > Messaging tab.
3. SMS Provider: This is the SMS Provider you are currently using with Homhero.
4. API Key: This the unique API Key provided by your SMS provider that enables Homhero to send SMS messages. This is setup during your onboarding to Homhero.
5. API Secret: This the unique API Secret provided by your SMS provider that enables Homhero to send SMS messages. This is setup during your onboarding to Homhero.
6. Force SMS: Here you can force SMS messages to go to a specific number.
7. From SMS Number: If you have a dedicated virtual number setup, it will be placed here.
8. Unified Inbox - Skip Unread System Messages and/or skip System Messages from the Inbox.
9. Unified Inbox - Skip Unread Reservation Messages and/or skip Reservation Messages from the Inbox. 
10. Unified Inbox - Skip Unread Guest Messages and/or skip Guest Messages from the Inbox.
11. Unified Inbox - Skip Unread Owner Messages and/or skip Owner Messages from the Inbox.
12. Unified Inbox - Skip Unread Cleaner Messages and/or skip Cleaner Messages from the Inbox.
13. Unified Inbox - Skip Unread Staff Messages and/or skip Staff Messages from the Inbox.
14. Unified Inbox - Skip Unread Enquiry Messages and/or skip Enquiry Messages from the Inbox.
15. Unified Inbox - Skip Unread Support Messages and/or skip Support Messages from the Inbox.
16. Click Save.
