Homhero’s Daily Reports offer a complete overview of your property operations, finances, and bookings, providing a streamlined way to stay on top of all your management tasks.
With these reports, you can:
- Track outstanding payments for both upcoming and past reservations to ensure all balances are collected.
- Monitor daily arrivals and departures with a checklist to keep staff organised and prepared.
- Identify booking gaps caused by minimum night restrictions to maximise occupancy and revenue.
- Review daily financial transactions with detailed summaries of all receipts processed in Homhero.
How to activate these reports
To set up your daily reports, you first need to activate them in your Homhero Settings. Follow the steps below to access and configure each report:
- Click Settings from your Homhero side menu.
- Ensure you're on the General Settings tab.
- Click on Daily Report tab.
Outstanding FORWARD Balances
This report helps ensure all upcoming arrivals are fully paid. It lists reservations with outstanding balances, categorises them by type (regular bookings, travel agent/OTA-collected funds, and owner bookings), and highlights which guests require payment before check-in.
- Active: Click the tick box to turn on the Outstanding FORWARD Balances report. The report will be delivered as PDF and Excel attachments containing outstanding balance details.
- Days in Advance: Enter how many Days In Advance the report should report on i.e. 30 will show the next 30 days worth of outstanding forward balances.

Recipients: Enter the email addresses of who the report should be sent to under Recipients - you can enter multiple email addresses by separating them with a comma.
Outstanding PAST Balances
This report helps you track overdue booking balances by listing past departures with outstanding payments. It highlights unpaid reservations, supports accounts receivable management, and separates bookings by type, such as outstanding balances versus funds collected by travel agents.
- Active: Click the tick box to turn on the PAST Balances report. The report will be delivered as PDF and Excel attachments containing details of outstanding departure balances.
- Days In Past: Enter how many Days In Past the report should report on i.e. 90 will show the past 90 days worth of outstanding past balances.

Daily Checklist
This report provides a daily overview of arrivals and departures, along with a task checklist to track completion for each booking. It displays key details such as guest information, check-in times, area names, and back-to-back stays, helping staff stay organised and prepared for daily operations.
- Active: Click the tick box to turn on the Daily Checklist report. The report will be delivered as a PDF attachment containing the arrivals and departures list.

Gaps Report
This report highlights availability gaps across your properties, helping you identify dates where adjusting minimum night rules could lead to additional bookings. It shows unbookable date ranges caused by minimum night restrictions and uncovers short gaps that represent revenue opportunities.
It Includes three types of gaps:
- Regular gaps (meeting minimum night threshold).
- Small gaps (less than 3 nights, within 28 days).
- Reverse gaps (rate inconsistencies with lock nights).
- Active: Click the tick box to turn on the Gaps Report. The report will be delivered as PDF and Excel attachments containing the gap analysis.
- Min Night Gaps: Enter the number of Min Night Gaps i.e. 2 will only show gaps of 2 nights or more.

Daily Transaction Report
This report provides a clear overview of all transactions processed in Homhero for the previous day. It includes detailed receipt information such as reservation ID, contact name, transaction type, description, and amount, along with a total summary of all transactions.
- Active: Click the tick box to turn on the Daily Transaction Report. The report will be delivered as a PDF attachment containing all transaction details.
- Recipients: Enter the email addresses of who the report should be sent to under Recipients - you can enter multiple email addresses by separating them with a comma.
- Click Save to apply and save any changes you’ve made.
