This article will explain the settings for the Owners Portal.
These settings are global and will apply to all owners setup in Homhero.
- Click Settings from the Homhero side menu.
- Select General Settings > Owner tab.
- Owner Portal Statements - Turn this toggle on to allow owners to view owner statements.
- Owner Portal Show Base Rate - Turn this toggle on to allow owners to view the base rate of guest reservations for their property.
Show NET Base Rate – Turn this toggle on to allow owners to view the amount of the booking minus the management fee commission %, as defined in the Property Management section.
If the commission includes GST, make sure to include that in the calculation.
For example, if the commission is 15% + GST, the total commission becomes 16.5% (incl. GST)- Allow Owner Clean - Turn this toggle on to allow owners to set a 'Default Clean Option' when they make owner bookings via the owners portal. Please refer to the next step to view the default clean options.

Default Clean Option - The Default Clean Options will only be visible if the 'Owner Clean' toggle is turned on. The options are:
- Please clean the property on departure
- I will clean the property on departure - Owner Portal Show Past Bookings - Turn this toggle on to allow owners to view past bookings.
- Display maintenance images - Turn this toggle on to allow owners to view images related to any maintenance jobs they have been sent.
- Display maintenance invoices - Turn this toggle on to allow owners to view maintenance invoices.
- Owner Portal Show Cancelled bookings - Turn this toggle on to allow owners to view cancelled bookings.
- Add work orders to files - Turn this toggle on to allow owners to view work orders which have been sent out.
- Display approve maintenance - Turn this toggle on to allow owners to approve maintenance jobs which have been sent to them.
- Owner Portal Show Guests Names - Turn this toggle on to allow owners to see the guests name e.g. P Sherman.
- Enforce Turnover Days - Turn this toggle on to enforce turnover days. This will ensure if a turnover day is set in Homhero, the owner is unable to book on those days.
- Owner Portal Showing Booking Source - Turn this toggle on to allow owners to see which source the booking was received from e.g. Airbnb, Website, Direct.

- Work Orders show Owners Name - Turn this toggle on to display the owners name on work orders sent via Homhero Maintenance.
- Enforce Stop Sells - Turn this toggle on to enforce stop sells on owner bookings.

Booking Lead Time (days) - Enter the number of days owners can make a booking in advance from today. If you enter 2 days, this means owners will be unable to make a booking via the owners portal unless the booking is 2 days out from the current day.
App Notifications
The following options are for your App Notifications. If any of these settings are turned on, it will trigger an email to your owners.
- New Booking - Turn this toggle on to send 'New Booking' notifications to the owners.
- New Booking (Confirmed Only) - Turn this toggle on to send new booking notifications for confirmed bookings only. Note that this must be enabled if you wish to notify owners of Request To Book reservations. This will notify them once the booking is in confirmed status.
- Cancelled Booking - Turn this toggle on to send 'Cancelled Booking' notifications to the owners.
- Cancelled Booking (Confirmed Only) - Turn this toggle on to only send cancellation notifications for confirmed bookings only.
- Dates modified - Turn this toggle on to send 'Dates modified' to the owners.
- Dates modified (Confirmed Only) - Turn this toggle on to only send modified booking notifications for confirmed bookings only.
- Property Changes - Turn this toggle on to send 'Property Change's to the owners. When this toggle is on, if a booking has changed property to a different one. It will send the old owner a cancellation email and the new owner a new booking notification. Please note that the cancellation and new booking notifications will only send if their respective settings are enabled.
- Property Changes (Confirmed Only) - Turn this toggle on to only send property change notifications for confirmed bookings only.
- Click Save.
