SPF stands for Sender Policy Framework, and is a TXT DNS record on your domain that lets receiving email servers of mail from your domain understand what IP addresses are permitted to send email on your behalf.
To allow HomHero and RMS to send email on your behalf, the following SPF includes must be exist on your TXT SPF record on the domain that you are sending email from.
For example: if you are sending email from holidays@myrealestatecompany.com.au then there would need to be an SPF record on your domain as below.
myrealestatecompany.com.au TXT "v=spf1 include:youremailproviderinclude.com -all"
Most domains already setup for email will have an SPF record. The HomHero and RMS additions will need to be made. These are:
include:spf.homhero.com.au
Using the original example, adding the HomHero record would then look like this:
myrealestatecompany.com.au TXT "v=spf1 include:youremailproviderinclude.com include:spf.homhero.com.au -all"
Validation
You can validate your SPF record using an online SPF validation service.

Note: If your SPF contains more than 10 DNS lookups, you will have to use an SPF flattening service. Talk to our support team to find out how HomHero can organise this for you.
