Portfolios in Homhero are a powerful way to manage multiple offices, locations, or groups of properties under the same business. They are particularly useful for property managers who want to assign a specific group of listings to designated staff members or view performance by region or property type.
Portfolios can be used to:
- Group listings by geographic location (e.g., suburbs, regions, or markets)
- Organise apartment groups or property types
- Assign listings to specific team members
- View statistics and reporting based on the selected portfolio
You can create a portfolio for a single property — for example, "View 1 Only" — to track performance over time. This is especially useful when an owner wants to monitor:
- Year-on-year performance
- Forward booking projections
Please view our step by step guide below on how to add portfolios in Homhero:
- Click Staff Access from your Homhero side menu.
- Click the Portfolios tab.
- Click the Add button to add a new Portfolio.
- Name - Enter the name of the Portfolio. This could be a location, office or staff name etc.
- Emails - Any staff emails added here will receive emails for the listings selected. If there are multiple email addresses, please ensure they are separated with a comma.
- Receive Emails From - Select the notifications you wish to receive emails from.

Staff Access - Select any staff members you wish to link to this Portfolio. If they are linked to more than one Portfolio, they can change Portfolios them from their User profile.
Note: At least one staff member needs to be selected for each Portfolio. -
Areas - Select the Areas you would like to connect to this Portfolio.
Note: Only Areas attached to this Portfolio will trigger the above notifications to the email address listed above. - Click Save.
How to change Portfolio Access
If your Staff Access is linked to multiple Portfolios you will be able to change your Portfolio from the Portfolio drop-down in the top right hand corner of your Homhero account.
