How to create a Maintenance Block in RMS

This article will explain how to add a Maintenance Block via RMS. Maintenance blocks serve the same purpose as a stop sell which is used to block off the availability of a listing for selected dates between RMS and Homhero. Maintenance blocks are also known as Out Of Order's on the RMS side.

Please follow the below steps:

1. Login to RMS
2. In the menu search, click Charts > Booking Chart
   
   
   
   
3. Click and drag to highlight the dates you wish to add in a Maintenance block. If you are entering a long Maintenance Block, then just select the first date on the Booking Chart. 
   
   Note: You can search for the dates by clicking the calendar in the top left hand corner of the booking chart OR use the arrow beside the dates up the top of the Booking Chart
   
   
4. Once the date/dates have been highlighted, right click and select Add Out of Order
   
   
   
   
5. From here you can adjust the dates as required. You are also able to add in a Note as to what the maintenance block is for. There is the option to add the Maintenance Block for another listing if the dates are the same. Once complete, click Save/Exit.
   
   

Once your Maintenance Block is created, this will feed through and be visible in HomHero. 

If you wish to modify the Maintenance Block, right click on the reservation from the Bookings Chart and select Edit Out of Order

If you are cancelling the Maintenance Block right click on the reservation from the Bookings Chart and select Cancel out of Order
