This article will explain the purpose of using the Rate Query in Homhero. This feature is designed for staff members to test and view the rates that are setup in Homhero and to confirm what the price will be when guests are placing a booking via your website, OTA's or directly through the property manager.
If you are investigating an incorrect rate on a booking, please keep in mind the rates for a property may have changed since the booking was placed.
Click the Rate Query button at the top of your Homhero screen and follow the below steps:
- Listing - Select the listing
- Check In - Select the arrival date
- Check Out - Select the departure date
- Nights - Select the number of nights
- Adults - Select the number of adults
- Children - Select the number of children
- Infants - Select the number of infants

Source - Select the booking source you would like to view for the listing and dates selected
Available Booking Sources: Website, Direct, Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo, Staymakers - Promo Code - Add an available promo code to apply to the listing and dates selected

Base Tariff - View the base tariff amount for the listing and dates selected
Calendar Icon: View the nightly base rate and minimum nights for the listing and dates selected
Override Base Tariff: The base tariff can be overridden by clicking in the base tariff column - Discount - View the total amount of discounts that apply for the listing and dates selected
- Actual Tarif - View the actual tariff amount after discounts for the listing and dates selected
- Packages (Inclusive) - View the value of inclusive packages for the listing and dates selected
- Packages (Itemised) - View the value of itemised packages for the listing and dates selected

Total - View the total booking amount for the listing and dates selected
Edit Pencil: You can override the Booking Total and change the Recalculation Method -
Deposit - View the deposit amount that applies to the listing and dates selected
Override Deposit: The deposit can be overridden by clicking in the deposit column - Deposit Surcharge - View the deposit surcharge that applies to the listing and dates selected
- Payment Total - View the total payment required for the listing and dates selected
