This article will show you how to convert a merge field into a link to be used for triggered correspondence.
- Click Correspondence > Schedules from your Homhero side menu
- Double click on the existing Schedule to open it
- Once you have opened your Schedule, click the Email Template tab
- Click the Merge Field icon
- Search for the Merge Field you would like to use and click Insert
- The Merge Field will appear in the Email Template as shown below
- Highlight the Merge Field you wish to hyperlink and copy the text e.g. hold (ctrl + c) on your keyboard
- Click the (+) Icon
- Select the Link option
- Under the Link URL or Bookmark field, paste the Merge Field
- Click the drop-down arrow to expand the box
- Change the Text to display with the text you would like the link to display as
- Click Insert to complete the changes
- Your new hyperlink will now appear in blue underlined text if completed successfully
