How to generate ChatGPT Listing Descriptions

This article will explain how to power your listings with AI via our new ChatGPT integration within Homhero. With this new feature, you have the ability to transform your property listings into compelling and engaging descriptions, making them stand out in the competitive holiday rental marketplace.

ChatGPT Descriptions is optimised for listings that are already setup in Homhero, as the description is generated from the existing content. If you are adding a new listing and there is no information preset, the description will be generic, because it doesn't have all of the relevant fields to generate from. In this case, we recommend to set the main information for a listing along with a placeholder description, before requesting a description from ChatGPT. 

The following listing fields are used to generate an AI description:

• Listing Name
• Suburb
• Address1
• State
• Guests Max
• Features (by name)
• Bedrooms
• Bathrooms
• Car Parks
• Pets
• Room Configuration
• Categories (by name) 

Our ChatGPT integration is currently offered as a complimentary feature for all Homhero clients, helping you enhance your property listings without any additional cost.

Step 1
To start using this feature, simply enable it via the Market Place as per the following steps:

1. Click Market Place from the Homhero side menu
2. Click the ChatGPT Icon
3. Turn the Active toggle on
4. Click Save 
   
   
   
    

Step 2
Head to your listings page to request a new Listing Description from ChatGPT. 

1. Click Booking Engine > Listings from the Homhero side menu
2. Double click on a listing to open it
   
   
    
3. Click Request Description from ChatGPT
   
   
   
    
4. You will receive the following message while the ChatGPT Description is loading:
   Requesting ChatGPT Description. This may take up to 30 seconds...
   
   
   
    
5. The ChatGPT Description will appear on the right. Take a moment to thoroughly review the description and make any adjustments as needed by clicking on the text to edit
6. Click OK to apply the updated description to the listing
   
   
    
7. Click Save on the listing
   
   
    
8. Upon clicking Save, the Copy Fields to OTA pop-up will appear. Select the OTA's that you would like to copy this description to
9. Click Copy to copy this description to the selected OTA's
