Good/Bad Guest Feature

The Good/Bad Guest feature gives property managers greater visibility, control, and communication tools to manage guest behaviour and relationships more effectively. Currently, this functionality is intended for internal use, with plans to expand its capabilities in future updates.

The Good/Bad Guest Feature includes:

• The ability to flag a guest as a bad guest.
• A visible icon displayed on the reservation screen, reservation list, and pending Airbnb host reviews page to clearly identify bad guests.
• Filtering options within Schedules to include or exclude bad guests as required.
• Automatic exclusion of bad guests when submitting bulk host reviews, ensuring a positive review is not sent unintentionally.

Bad Guest Toggle on Reservations
Property managers can flag a reservation as a Bad Guest directly from the Reservation screen.

When this option is enabled, the reservation screen will display:

• A “Bad Guest” tag in the reservation header for easy visual identification.
• A required reason field explaining why the guest was marked as bad.
• All changes to this status (set or removed) are tracked in the audit log.

Reservations List Filters and View
A Bad Guest filter is available in the Advanced Search Filters on the Reservations List, allowing users to view:

• All Guests (default)
• Only Good Guests
• Only Bad Guests

Reservations flagged as Bad Guests will display an upside-down thumbs   icon for easy identification.



Schedules
The same filtering options are available when creating or managing Schedules, enabling property managers to target specific guest segments when sending automated messages or campaigns:

• All guests
• Good guests only
• Bad guests only

Note: Schedule previews will accurately reflect the list of reservations based on the selected filter.



Bulk Submit Airbnb Host Reviews for Good Guests
Reservations with the Bad Guest toggle enabled will be automatically excluded from the Bulk Submit Good Guests feature, which is used to submit Airbnb host reviews in bulk for guests flagged as “good guests. Reviews for Bad Guests will need to be submitted manually after the bulk submission.

Future Enhancements
The following extensions are currently in development:

• Create, edit, and deactivate bad guest records.
• Automatically check new reservations against this list.
• Trigger warnings if a match is found.
