Charges API (Detailed Taxes and Fees)
The Detailed Taxes and Fees configuration is supported through Booking.com’s Charges API, which allows Homhero to configure tax rules and additional charges that apply to bookings made through Booking.com.
This functionality enables property managers to define how taxes and fees are structured for their listings. These may include government taxes, local charges, or additional property fees that need to be itemised separately from the nightly rate.

Contracting API (Onboarding Solutions)
The Contracting API is used during the onboarding process to establish the legal and commercial relationship between a property manager and Booking.com.
Through this API, Homhero allows users to either register a new Booking.com Legal Entity or connect an existing one. This ensures that the correct business details, legal contacts, and contractual information are linked to the account before listings are published.
The Contracting API helps streamline the onboarding process by allowing legal entity registration and account verification to occur directly within Homhero rather than through separate Booking.com systems.

Facilities API (Facility Details)
The Facilities API is used to configure and manage property amenities and facilities that appear on Booking.com listings. Through this API, Homhero sends information about the features available at each property, such as parking, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, kitchen facilities, and other amenities that help guests understand what the property offers.
Keeping facility information synchronised ensures that listing details on Booking.com accurately reflect the property information stored in Homhero.
Room Management API (Room and Rate Management)
The Room Management API (Room Management 2) is responsible for managing the structure of listings, including room types, rate plans, and occupancy settings.
This API allows Homhero to create and manage the inventory configuration used by Booking.com. It defines how properties are structured, how rates are organised, and how availability is connected to the channel.
Room Management ensures that pricing, availability, and occupancy rules remain synchronised between Homhero and Booking.com.
