Homhero has an active integration with Vrbo’s Content API. This article will guide you through the process of setting up your Vrbo account listings in Homhero. Please note that each Homhero account can only connect to one Vrbo account.
While Homhero does not have a direct integration with Expedia, enabling Instant Booking for your Vrbo listings through Homhero allows those listings to appear on Expedia Group affiliate sites. This is because Vrbo is part of the Expedia Group ecosystem, and listings with Instant Booking are eligible for cross-platform visibility.

- Lastminute

How to connect to Vrbo
- Click Channel Management > Connections from the Homhero side menu
- In the Vrbo box, select the spanner icon to open up the account
- Click on the green pencil icon to open up your global settings.
- The global settings will set as defaults on all of your listings. These can still be changed at a listing level and it will override the settings here for that particular listing.

Once you have completed the global settings for your Vrbo account, click Save and then head to the Homhero side menu and navigate to Booking Engine > Listings.
- Next to each listing you will find a Vrbo logo that will be grey to begin with. Click on the Vrbo logo to open up the Vrbo specific settings for that particular listing.
- Complete as much of the content and fields as possible. View our Vrbo Listing Settings here.
The more you do here, the better the listing will perform in searches and in appeal to your guests. Click Save once everything is completed. Your listing will then be moved to a "Review" phase in which a HOMHERO team member will review and approve the listing. Whilst the listing is awaiting approval the icon will show as yellow to represent the pending status.
- Once approved, your listing will be pushed to Vrbo and ready to go live.
- Please email support@homhero.com.au once you have finished the setup for the Vrbo connection. Homhero will check the setup and if everything is completed correctly, we will notify Vrbo to proceed with the next steps.
- At this point, a Vrbo representative will contact you and go through the final steps before being published.
