The first step is to create a new Owner for your Property. This article will also explain how to add bank details to an owner profile. If your Owner is already setup, please go to:
Step 2. Create a GL Code for a new Property in RMS
- Select Reservations > Client Search from the side menu
- Click the Add (+) button in the top right hand corner
From here you will need to fill out the Owners contact details. You are more than welcome to fill out as much information as possible, however we recommend to fill in at least the following sections:
- Groupname - If the Owner is under a Business Name enter that here
- Surname (mandatory) - Enter the Owners last name
- Given - Enter the Owners first name
- Email - Enter the Owners email address
- Mobile - Enter the Owner mobile
- Client Type - Select Owner
- Property - Select your Business Name from the drop-down
- Click Save
- After selecting Save, select the Banking tab
- Click the Add button in the bottom right hand corner of the Edit Owner page
- Enter the Owner's Bank Details
- Ensure you select the correct Pay Owner By method as per below:
- EFTPOS represents a bank transfer which will appear on the generated ABA file
- Other Cheque means you will be processing via other means outside the system
- BPAY does not work in RMS. Pleas select 'Other Cheque' instead, then do the BPAY manually. When it shows up on your bank statement, then you can present the Cheque - Once completed, click Save/Exit
- Click Save/Exit again
