Before you start connecting your individual HVMB listings, you will need to ensure your global HVMB settings are setup. These settings will feed through to each HVMB listing where required, however if you change any of this information (excluding Amenities) on the individual HVMB listing level, that change will override these global settings.
These settings can be accessed as per the following steps:
- Click Channel Management > Connections from the Homhero side menu
- Click the HVMB Spanner Icon
- Click the Green Pencil Icon (Edit Options)
Details
- Amenities (Features) - Set any Room Amenities that apply to all HVMB listings
Note: You can have values set on both the global and listing level, which means the individual OTA listing Amenities will not override the Default HVMB Settings Amenities. We will merge them together to form a complete list before we send this information to HVMB. - House Rules - Please specific the House Rules for staying at the Property
- Parking Allowed - Is there parking available at the property? Yes or No
- Smoking Allowed - Is smoking permitted within the property? Yes or No
- Parties Allowed - Are parties allowed at the property? Yes or No
Booking Settings
- Cancellation Policy - Select a default Cancellation Policy to apply to all HVMB listings:
- 14 day cancellation policy with a grace period
- 30 day cancellation policy with a grace period
- 60 day cancellation policy with a grace period
- 90 day cancellation policy with a grace period - Security Deposit by HVMB - When yes is selected, the Booking Source for HVMB must be set to "Exclude Security Deposit". If no is selected, and "Exclude Security Deposit" is off, Homhero will add a line of text to the listing description regarding the Security Deposit

Availability
- Minimum Advanced Booking Offset - The minimum amount of time in advance the room must be booked
- Max Advanced Booking Offset - The maximum amount of time in advance the room can be booked. Default is 2 years
Pricing
- Rate Lift - This is where you will need to setup a Rate Lift to cover any commission charged from Airbnb
