StayMakers Listing Settings

This article will explain how to setup the listing settings for each StayMakers listing before you publish the listing to StayMakers. Any of the same settings that are available in your DEFAULT StayMakers Settings can be overridden here on a listing level. 

These settings can be accessed as per the following steps:

  • Click Booking Engine > Listings from the Homhero side menu
  • Select a listing by clicking the 'grey' StayMakers Icon visible under the Web/OTA column

Details

  1. Account - The name of your account will automatically feed from your global settings. If you have more than one StayMakers account, make sure you select the correct Account from the drop-down first before completing your listing settings  
  2. Name - The name of your listing will automatically feed from your main listing settings if you have used the 'Copy Fields to OTA' tool, however you can also override the listing name here manually



     
  3. Property Type - Select the most suitable Property Type for this listing
    *This setting is mandatory
     
  4. Summary - Add a brief summary for this listing. Maximum length is 500 characters
    *This setting is mandatory
     
  5. Room Type - Select the most suitable Room Type for this listing
    *This setting is mandatory
     
  6. Is Shared - Is this a shared property? Select Yes or No
    *This setting is mandatory
     
  7. Cancellation Policy - Select a default Cancellation Policy for this listing
    *Updating this setting will override your DEFAULT StayMakers Settings for this listing
     
  8. Space - Add a detailed description for this listing
    *This setting is mandatory
     
  9. Guest Access - Add additional information here to explain the guest access for this listing
     
  10. Interaction with Guests - Add additional information here to explain how you would prefer to interact with your guests
     
  11. Things to Note - Add any additional things to note about this listing that will help the guest experience
     
  12. House Rules - These are displayed on the itinerary presented to the client by the travel agent, so keep them simple and include key rules like no parties, no schoolies, no events, no more than maximum guests allowed
    *Updating this setting will override your DEFAULT StayMakers Settings for this listing
     
  13. Amenities - Set any Room Amenities that apply to this listing

    Note: You can have values set on both the global and listing level, which means the individual OTA listing Amenities will not override the Default StayMakers Settings Amenities. We will merge them together to form a complete list before we send this information to StayMakers


     

Pricing

  1. Rate to Use - Select the rate that you wish to use for sending to StayMakers for this listing
     
  2. Rate Lift - Normally this is where you will setup a Rate Lift to cover any commission charged from an OTA, however please leave the Rate Lift as 0.00%, as this is controlled directly on the StayMakers side
     
  3. Additional Guest Fee - Add an additional Guest Fee here if applicable
    *Updating this setting will override your DEFAULT StayMakers Settings for this listing
     
  4. Cleaning Fee - Add a Cleaning Fee here if applicable
    *Updating this setting will override your DEFAULT StayMakers Settings for this listing
     
  5. Security Fee - Add an Security Fee here if applicable
    *Updating this setting will override your DEFAULT StayMakers Settings for this listing

Availability

  1. Minimum Advanced Booking Days - The minimum number of days in advance that the room can be booked (Can be empty)
    *Updating this setting will override your DEFAULT StayMakers Settings for this listing
     
  2. Maximum Advanced Booking Days - The maximum number of days in advance that the room can be booked (max 501 days)
    *Updating this setting will override your DEFAULT StayMakers Settings for this listing

Additional Settings

  1. Cancel - Allows you to cancel any recent changes you have made in the current StayMakers Settings
  2. Unlist - If a property is already listed on StayMakers, this will unlist the property, making it unavailable online
  3. Relist - If a property is unlisted, this button will appear. Click Relist to list the property on StayMakers
  4. View on StayMakers- This will allow you to view the StayMakers listing as it appears on StayMakers
  5. View log - This will let you access the API Logs for this listing
  6. Save - The drop-down menu has two options, Save or Save & Publish:
    • Save: Once your listing is live, you can save all changes made to your settings, without updating StayMakers
    • Save & Publish: This will create a new listing on StayMakers. Once your listing is live, clicking this will save all changes made to your settings, and push them directly to StayMakers.
