How does Key Data work?
Key Data integrates directly with Homhero to provide your business with robust and trusted analytics on your properties, those of your local and regional competitors, and a series of reports to save time and streamline owner communications, market insights, revenue management, sales and marketing strategies, and a number of internal pacing charts to track year-over-year progress. Their direct integration with you and competitors allows for the most accurate, real-time short-term rental data available.
What are some of the key reports that Key Data offers?

Market Insights: uses data from your local market and allows you to filter off KPIs like occupancy, ADR, and RevPar to understand exactly how your market is performing and more importantly what you need to do to stay ahead of market trends

OTA Comp Sets: tool allows you to build customized, competitive sets for each of your properties in a few minutes. You can monitor daily pricing/availability on VRBO and AirBnB and see where you stack up against your customized competitive set

How can I get a copy of my invoices?
If you would like a copy of your invoices you can find them in your dashboard ---> clicking the person icon in the top right corner ---> select payment information ---> You will see a list of invoices towards the bottom of your screen and by clicking the eye icon all the way to the right you can view the invoice and have the option to download it.
How do I add a new user?
If you would like to add a new user you can do so in your dashboard by clicking the cogwheel settings icon in the top right corner—---> select Users—--> + Add New—----> then enter the user's information. They will be sent an email directly after with the remaining instructions to log in.
How do I add my company logo to my reports?
Your company logo is a great addition to your dashboard and will show on all reports that are downloaded to a PDF view. To add your logo please navigate to the person icon in the top right of your dashboard screen. Select “Personal Information” – here you can add your contact information and upload a photo of your company logo.
Why do I need to use the Google Authenticator app?
Due to the sensitive nature of the data in the Dashboard, we have an additional step required to log in. Two-factor authentication is utilized across many websites including Key Data- similar to receiving a text message with a code to log into your bank, we utilize the free Google Authenticator app to serve as the second factor of authentication. This app downloaded to your cell phone, generates random 6-digit codes several times a minute that you will use to log into the dashboard after entering your password. Due to the ever-changing nature of these codes, your data is secure and private just for you.
Where in the dashboard can I find market data?
We use two types of Market Data in the dashboard - scraped and direct-fed. The Benchmarking Report and the Rental Projections add-on module utilize direct fed data, while the OTA Supply and OTA Comp Set Reports use scraped data. All reports related to Market Data can be found in the left-side menu under Market Insights and Business Development.
I see discrepancies in my data. How do we fix it?
Contact your Partner Success Manager or email us at support@keydatadashboard.com with your concerns. Don't forget to provide some examples of the discrepancies so we can troubleshoot the data faster.
How do I print or download a report?
You’ll find a “Print” button in the top left corner of the graphs in Key Data. Click “Print” to choose the graph orientation layout (either Landscape or Portrait) on the page. From your computer’s print menu, you can choose “Save as PDF” to download the graph to your computer instead of printing it from a printer.
What is the difference between direct and scraped data?
Direct data as it relates to reporting in your dashboard is data that comes directly from our customer's PMS. It is “real” data for actual reservations and the revenue associated with them. Scraped data as it relates to reporting in your dashboard is data that is scraped from Airbnb and VRBO sites. These are not direct-fed reservations, but what Airbnb and VRBO are showing for rates for a given time and “blocks” for a given time.
