The Homhero Staff/Maintenance Online Portal is accessed via a URL so there is no need to download anything.
This enables the use of the Homhero Staff/Maintenance Online Portal on any device.
Enter this URL in a web browser - https://staff.homhero.com.au/ (Google Chrome is the preferred browser).
- Enter your Homhero Account Code find this next to your Account name located at the top of your Homhero page.
- Enter your Email.
- Enter your Password.
- Click Sign in.
Dashboard - Upon logging into the portal, you will always be directed to the Dashboard.
- Due for Arrival is the number of arrivals for today, click this option to view all the details of who is arriving.
- Due for Departure is the number of departures for today, click this option to view details of who is departing
- In House is the number of bookings currently in house.
- Tonights Occupancy is listed as a percentage, click this option to view the In House Guest list.
- Contacts will provide all contacts of all guests/owners/staff etc; that are in Homhero.
- Quote will open you to a quote enquiry form for you to fill in and email a quote to a guest for accommodation.
- Clicking on Availability will open the live availability calendar that feeds live from Homhero.
In House Guests - Select In House Guests from the side menu.
- To find and view a property from its name, click the Property drop-down and select the property from the list.
- Alternatively, click the Booking Type drop-down if you wish to find bookings that are not currently in house. Your options to search are: All, Forward, In House, Todays Arrivals, and Todays Departures.
- Click the Booking Status drop-down to see properties based on booking status. You may select multiple from the options: Confirmed, Unconfirmed, Arrived, Departed, and Cancelled.
- Enter a Reservation Id to display a specific booking in the list.
- Enter a Guest Name to display any bookings related to that guest in the list.
Tip: Clicking on a booking from the In-House list will open up more booking information.
Bookings - Select Bookings from the side menu.
- To find and view a property from its name, click the Property drop-down and select the property from the list.
- Alternatively, click the Booking Type drop-down to find bookings that are not currently in house. Your options to search are: All, Forward, In House, Todays Arrivals, and Todays Departures.
- Click the Booking Status drop-down to see properties based on booking status. You may select multiple from the options: Confirmed, Unconfirmed, Arrived, Departed, and Cancelled.
- Enter a Reservation Id to display a specific booking in the list.
- Enter a Guest Name to display any bookings related to that guest in the list.
Contacts - Select Contacts from the side menu.
- All contacts will be listed in alphabetical order. To filter your contact searches, click the drop-down and select a Contact type from the options: Client, Cleaner, Owner, and Third Party.
- You may also search for a contact using the Search bar.
- Click on the contact to view more information.
- Contacts name, email, and mobile number will be listed first.
- Click the Call button to call contact.
- Click the Email button to send an email to the contact.
- Click the SMS button to send an SMS to the contact.
- Contacts Address is listed below.
- Click the Correspondence tab to view all previous correspondence with the contact.
Live Availability - Select Live Availability from the side menu.

Click the Property drop-down and select a property you wish to view from an alphabetical list.

Availability - Live availability is shown by month. To view a different month, you can side scroll across the screen. Red dates are not available and green dates are available.

Forward Bookings - Below the calendar will be a list of all future bookings for this property. Click on a booking to see more information.
Quote - Select Quote from the side menu.

Use the calendar to select the Arrival date.

Use the calendar to select the Departure date.

The number of Nights will automatically calculate from entering Arrival and Departure dates. Similarly, the Departure date will automatically calculate from entering the Arrival date and the number of Nights.

Enter the number of Adults.

Enter the number of Children.

Click the drop-down and select a Promo Code if required.

Scroll down and enter the guests details, starting with First Name.

Enter the guests Last Name.

Enter the guests Email address.

Enter the guests Mobile number.
-
Click Send Quote.
Book Now - Select Book Now from the side menu.

Click the drop-down and select a listing.
-
Use the calendar and side slider to view available dates.

Enter the number of Nights under Search Details section.

Use the calendar to select the Arrival date. The Departure date will automatically calculate based on the number of nights.

Enter the number of Adults.

Enter the number of Children.

Scroll down to see the Booking Total and deposit amount due below the Search Details section.

Enter the guests First Name.

Enter the guests Last Name.

Enter the guests Email address.

Enter the guests Mobile number.

Enter the guests Address.
-
Enter the guests Suburb.
-
Enter the guests State.
-
Enter the guests Postcode.

Enter the guests Country.
-
Enter any Comments.
-
Enter any Internal Notes.

Move onto the next step to make the booking, or click Send Quote to send the quote to the quest.

Click the drop-down and select the guests Payment Method. If the method is 'Credit Card', follow the steps listed below.

Enter the guests Card Number.

Click the drop-down and select the Card Type.

Enter the Name on the Card.

Enter the cards Expiry Month.

Enter the cards Expiry Year.

Enter the cards CCV.

Tick the box to Send Email Receipt.

Click Make Booking.
Properties - Select Properties from the side menu.

Click the drop-down to select the Property Search Type. The options are: Vacant Only or Show All.

The property name and owner will be shown at the top of the page.

Property Address is listed below.

Cleaners shows the cleaning team and assigned cleaner.

Any Property Notes are shown below.

Any Check in Notes are shown at the bottom of the page.

Click the Cleans tab at the top for information related to cleaning jobs for the listing.

Property Name will be listed at the top.

Reservation ID and Date clean was completed is listed below.

Cleaning Team and Cleaner Name will be shown under 'Cleaners' section.

Click the Photos tab at the top to view any images related to the clean.

Click the Notes tab at the top to view any notes related to the clean.

Click the Maintenance tab at the top of the Property page for information related to maintenance.

The Property name, Status of the property and Date of the maintenance job is shown at the top.

Description of the maintenance job is shown below.

Click the drop-down arrow to change the Status of a job. The options are: Keep Open, Awaiting Response, and Mark Completed.

Click the Photos tab at the top to add or view any images related to the maintenance job.

Click the Notes tab to view any notes.

Click the Charges tab to add a maintenance charge.

Click Save.
Maintenance Jobs - Select Maintenance Jobs from the side menu.

Property name, Status of the property and Date maintenance job was added is shown at the top.

Description of the maintenance job is shown below.

Click the drop-down menu to change the Status of a job. The options are: Keep Open, Awaiting Response, and Mark Completed.

Click the Photos tab at the top to view any images related to the maintenance job.

Click the Notes tab to view any notes.

Click the Charges tab to add a maintenance charge.

Click Save.
Send Message - Select Send Message from the side menu

Enter details of the message including your Name, Email, Phone number and the Subject of your message.

After writing your message, click Send to send the message to reception.
Report Maintenance - Select Report Maintenance from the side menu.

Enter your Name.
-
Enter your Email address.
-
Enter your Phone number.
-
Click the drop-down and select the Property the report is concerning.

Enter a Detailed Description of Issue.

Click Add Photos to attach images of the issue to the maintenance request.

Click Send.
Invoices
Invoices- This is not in use, as there is a better section in Homhero that we use for invoicing. Unless your maintenance staff will be uploading their invoices via the portal. Please call Homhero Support for any questions.
Get latest updates
Please ensure you update your online portal, as Homhero is always making improvements. You will see an icon next to the menu for when you need to update. To update, select Get latest updates in the side menu and then click RELOAD.
