STEP 7. Create a Tariff/Rates Table in RMS

In RMS, Tariffs may also be referred to as Rates.

In this step, you only need to create a Standard Rate Tariff Table for your new property. This may be labeled differently depending on your current setup (e.g., Base Rate, BAR Rate, Homhero Rate).

Note: You no longer need to create an Owner Rate Tariff Table for each new property, as Homhero automatically maps this based on the Owner Rate 'Rate Type' set up in RMS. Once the Owner Rate is synced to Homhero, you will need to ensure it is selected in the Rate Type settings for owner bookings to be successfully made.

Standard Rate

1. Select Charts > Tariff Manager from the side menu
2. Select New Tariff Wizard
   
   

Wizard Step 1 - Select a Tariff Structure and Type

1. Select Tariff Structure = OTA Tariff
2. Select Tariff Type: Choose an Existing Tariff Type = Standard Rate
   Note: If there are no existing Tariff Types, please click 'Create a Tariff Type' and call this Standard Rate
3. Click Next
   
   

Wizard Step 2 - Select Applicable Room Type

1. Select Room Type
2. Click Next
   
   
   

Wizard Step 3 - Select a Tariff Period

1. Select Tariff Period = (All Year Round)
2. Click Next
   
   
   

Wizard Step 4 - Set Tariff Amounts

Use Existing Tariff

1. Select Use Existing Tariff > Tariff = Standard Rate
   Note: If you do not have an existing Standard Rate Tariff, skip this step and head to the instructions below on how to Create a new Tariff.
2. Click Save
3. After selecting Save, an 'Edit Tariff Table - Standard Rate' page will appear. Click Save/Exit
   
   
   
   

Create a new Tariff

1. Select Create new Tariff > Tariff = Enter Standard Rate as the Description
2. Enter the Nightly Tariff as $999/night (this is a default rate that will send to Homhero)
3. Click Save
4. After selecting Save, an 'Edit Tariff Table - Standard Rate' page will appear. Click Save/Exit
   
   
   

Once the above steps are completed, you can proceed to Step 8. Sync and Activate your Property in Homhero
