STEP 13. Connect your Listing to your OTA's

The next step is to help you connect your Listing to Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo, StayMakers and HVMB. This article will highlight the steps involved with connecting your Listing to your OTA's only if these connections are already live with Homhero. 

For any OTA's that we don't currently integrate with e.g. Agoda, TripAdvisor, you can still have a connection with them, however anytime you receive a booking, you will need to manually enter them into Homhero.

Connect to Airbnb

On the Booking Engine/Listings page, click the the Airbnb Icon under the Web/OTA column

  1. Click on each tab in your Airbnb Listing Settings and fill out all applicable details for this Listing

  2. NEW Listing - To create a new listing on Airbnb, select the Details tab > Merge with Existing > Create New Listing 

    Merge with Existing Listing - If your listing already exists on Airbnb, select the listing from the drop-down 

  3. Click Save & Publish
    NOTE
    : Whilst the listing is awaiting approval the Airbnb icon will show as yellow to represent the Pending status mceclip5.png

  4. Once you have clicked Save and Publish on the Airbnb listing in Homhero, you will need to login to your Airbnb account and publish the new listing as a final step. Homhero cannot do this for you, as there is a process in which the listing can be merged with an old one, or created as a new one in Airbnb. In this scenario, you will need to publish this listing as a new one.

  5. Once published and the listing is Live, the Airbnb Icon will show as green to represent the Active status mceclip3.png

Connect to Booking.com

On the Booking Engine/Listings page, click the the Booking.com Icon under the Web/OTA column

  1. Click on each tab in your Booking.com Listing Settings and fill out all applicable details for this Listing

  2. NEW Listing - To create a new listing on Booking.com, click Save & Publish

    EXISTING Listing
    - If your listing already exists on Booking.com, you will need to copy the 'Hotel ID' from your Booking.com account into the following settings then Save & Publish

    Homhero Booking.com Account > Details tab > Connection ID's > Hotel ID 

    Room ID should be left blank as this will generate automatically once the listing has been created.

    NOTE
    : Whilst the listing is awaiting approval the Booking.com icon will show as yellow to represent the Pending status mceclip4.png

  3. Once published and the listing is Live, the Booking.com Icon will show as green to represent the Active status mceclip2.png

Connect to Vrbo

On the Booking Engine/Listings page, click the the Vrbo Icon under the Web/OTA column

  1. Click on each tab in your Vrbo Listing Settings and fill out all applicable details for this Listing

    Please ensure the following fields are set for each Vrbo listing, otherwise they will not be approved and this will cause delays in the listing going live:

    - Ensure no fees or additional charges are listed in the descriptions
    - Ensure the listing has minimum of 8x images
    - Ensure a room/bathroom configuration has been added and is correct
    - Ensure the listing has a minimum of 5x Property Amenities
    - Ensure the listing has a minimum of 5x Property Features (fishing, swimming)

    Note: You can apply 5x default Property Features in your Channel Management settings for Vrbo (This will save you time from adding these individually to each Vrbo Listing)

  2. To create a new listing on Vrbo, click Save & Publish

    : Whilst the listing is awaiting approval the Vrbo icon will show as yellow to represent the Pending status mceclip6.png

  3. Once your listing is approved, the Vrbo Icon will show as green to represent the Active status mceclip1.png via Homhero, however that could mean the listing hasn't been approved on the Vrbo side (due to errors in place). Please give it a full 48 hours to sync to Vrbo and the listing will go through if it meets the minimum requirements. Please reach out to support@homhero.com.au if you cannot find your NEW listing on Vrbo after this timeframe.

 Connect to StayMakers 

On the Booking Engine/Listings page, click the the StayMakers Icon under the Web/OTA column

  1. Click on each tab in your StayMakers Listing Settings and fill out all applicable details for this Listing

  2. NEW Listing - To create a new listing on StayMakers, click Save & Publish

    NOTE
    : Whilst the listing is awaiting approval the StayMakers icon will show as yellow to represent the Pending status 

  3. Once published and the listing is Live, the StayMakers Icon will show as green to represent the Active status 

Connect to Homes & Villas by Marriott Bonvoy

On the Booking Engine/Listings page, click the the HVMB Icon under the Web/OTA column

  1. Click on each tab in your HVMB Listing Settings and fill out all applicable details for this Listing

  2. Existing Listing - Enter HVMB Listing ID if you would like to connect to an existing HVMB Listing
  3. NEW Listing - To create a new listing on HVMB, leave the HVMB Listing ID blank then click Save & Publish

    NOTE
    : Whilst the listing is awaiting approval the HVMB icon will show as yellow to represent the Pending status 

  4. Once published and the listing is Live, the HVMB Icon will show as green to represent the Active status
