This article will explain the steps involved with moving the management of rates from RMS to Homhero.
Before switching on 'Manage Rates in HomHero' within your Rates and Availability Settings, you will need to ensure steps 1 and 2 are completed in Homhero first.
Please see below:
Step 1 - Add Default Daily Rates in HOMHERO
These are your default base tariffs that will apply to your forward availability.
Step 2 - Add Seasons in HOMHERO
These are your tariff periods.
Step 3 - Turn Manage Rates in HomHero toggle on in HOMHERO
Please ensure no one touches this toggle moving forward once this toggle has been switched on.
Step 4 - Add/Update Rates in HOMHERO
Once Step 3 is done, you can then start updating and adding future rates in Homhero.
Please keep in mind, prior to making the switch to Homhero, all of your current base rates in RMS will already be showing in Homhero. This step is only required If you need to make further changes to your existing rates.
Step 5 - Add Stop Sells, Close Arrivals, Close Departures in HOMHERO
Once you turn the 'Manage Rates in HomHero' toggle on, all future Stop Sells, CTA's and CTD's within RMS will be ignored. This means you will need to enter these into Homhero manually to reflect your previous restrictions that were setup in RMS.
Step 6 - Update Rate/Tariff Tables in RMS to the ''All Year Round'' Tariff Period
If you have previously been using specific tariff periods for your rates in RMS, then there will be restrictions in your forward availability when moving your rates to Homhero. You will need to ensure that all rate tables that are associated to the Homhero tariff type are updated to an ''All Year Round'' tariff period.
Step 7 - Click Manual OTA Resync in RMS
The final step is to sync the rates and allotment from RMS to ensure the correct availability is feeding through to Homhero. This step should only be done after completion of Step 6.
