Airbnb Amenity Attributes

This article will cover the new layout and updates to Airbnb amenity attributes, which are now visible during the feature mapping process. Using these attributes effectively will greatly boost your listing's visibility on Airbnb by ensuring it appears in more search results. 

You can complete this process via your global features list or directly from your Airbnb listing settings. We recommend starting with your global features list and then mapping individual listings separately if they have unique attributes.

Please follow the below steps to map your Airbnb amenity attributes:

1. Click Booking Engine > Listings from the Homhero side menu.
2. Click the MANAGE button.
3. Select Features.
   
   
   
   
4. Click the Edit button.
   
   
   
   
5. On the Edit Feature pop-up, click the edit icon for Airbnb.
   
   
   
   
6. Locate Air Conditioning and click the edit pencil to open up the amenity attributes.
7. Once the panel opens on the right, activate the Air Conditioning attribute.
8. Select the A/C Options that apply. You can select more than 1 as the default.
9. Click Update.
   
   
   
   
10. Click Set Amenities.
    
    
    
    
11. Repeat steps for remaining Airbnb Amenity Attributes.
12. Remember to sync the changes to your Airbnb listings in bulk. 

Additional Fields
The mapping screen includes additional fields and attributes that function differently from the standard selectable options. Here’s what you need to know:

1. Search Field - Use the search field to quickly find a specific amenity within the list.
   
   
   
   
2. Show Active - Enabling this toggle will display only active Airbnb amenities within the list.
   
   
   
   
3. Show Grouped - Enabling this toggle will organise amenities into categories. If left off, amenities will remain ungrouped but will always be listed in alphabetical order.
   
   
   
   
4. Setting Attributes - If a value is missing for an attribute upon clicking Update, we will display a list of items that still haven't been set.
   
   
   
   
5. Unsaved Attribute Changes - If you exit the amenity mapping screen before finishing the mapping of an attribute, Homhero will remind you that there are empty attributes detected.
   
   You can either click Yes to leave without changes or click No to correct the missing values.
   
   

Special Amenity Attributes

1. Seasonality - When selecting the pool amenity, you will have the option to set its seasonality and open hours. This allows you to specify the dates and times when the pool will be open. This also applies to the Jacuzzi amenity.
   
   
   
   
2. Price Types - When selecting the paid parking amenity, you can specify whether parking is free or paid. If paid, you must enter the cost per night or per stay (pay directly). This also applies to the Crib, Dryer, High Chair, Pack 'n' Play Travel Crib, Resort Access and Washer amenities.
