How to add Features

Features, also known as Amenities, refer to the various attributes included with your accommodation. Setting them up correctly can greatly boost your listing's visibility online by ensuring it appears in more search results. They can also have a significant positive impact on guest reviews.

For example, when guests book through the OTAs, they can refine their search by selecting specific Features they need, such as Air Conditioning, a Bathtub, or a Swimming Pool. If your listing in Homhero doesn’t have all available Features properly set up, it may be excluded from search results when a guest selects a Feature you’ve accidentally left out. This could be something as simple as a BBQ or Kitchen facilities.

To ensure your listing performs well online, we recommend adding as many Features as possible. We've included some of our top suggestions that guests frequently use to filter their search results online.

You can setup your global features as per the following steps:

1. Click Booking Engine > Listings from the Homhero side menu.
2. Click the MANAGE button.
3. Select Features.
   
   
   
   
4. Click the Add button.
   
   
   
   
5. On the Add Feature pop-up, Enter the Name of the Feature e.g. Air Conditioning.
6. Click Update
   
   
   
   
7. The new Feature added will appear in your Features list in alphabetical order.
   
   
   
   
8. Repeat the above steps as required.
